A Conversation

I was thrilled to win one of the main roles in Stavros Ladikos’ short film A Conversation. Stavros was a second-year film student at York University and his work is visually stunning.

In A Conversation, I play psychologist Matt Dyers, who welcomes a new patient into his office late one night (played by the excellent Kevin Metcalfe). Things take a turn for the sinister as it turns out my new patient knows more about me than I do about him.

The shoot was three consecutive nights, which was pretty hard and quite surreal, but the cast and crew were extremely friendly and professional and the adrenaline of take after take got me through it!

I’ve since seen the finished result, and while it’s not going to be released publicly until after a festival run, you can take my word for it that A Conversation is a real work of cinematic art.
