AKP

AKP were a high-energy pop-rock band I formed in 1999 as a simple power trio alongside another band I was playing lead guitar for at the time. The other band ended up disbanding, and I carried on for 10 years, with a variety of excellent musicians by my side.

Over the course of those ten years, we supported a variety of high-profile bands (including Snow Patrol, indie fans) who were either on their way up, or the way down, and released 3 EPs (Wake Up Dead, The Joy of Desire, Rocket Science) and one full-length album (The Blast Apex) all of which are currently available on BandCamp to stream or buy.

Ten years is a long time to keep a band going continually, and I need to give thanks to the following reprobates for coming with me on at least part of the journey:

Drummers: Chris Rawson, Craig Hill, Dan Whiting. Bassists: Andrew Bowen, Gemma Watson, Leo Derevonko. Keyboards: Andy Curry
