Directing this hilarious, sold-out show once again
I first (assistant) directed Evan Linder and Andrew Hobgood’s comedy play at Theatre@41, York in 2024 with the Penny Magpie Theatre Company, where it played to sold out audiences and was critically acclaimed.
In 2026, we were invited to bring the show back for Pride Month, at York Theatre Royal Studio – with the same cast and crew, and jumped at the chance. This time I was taking full directorial duties so Samantha Hindman (Producer and actor) could focus on her performance.
In addition, Hebden Bridge Trade club also invited us to stage the play, so a week after the York revival we played there too. Both shows were, once again, sold out!
Tremendous fun, with a hugely talented cast.
