Behold! My showreel for 2018. Huge thanks to Tony Hipwell of Grunt Productions for putting it together for me. If you want me to act in your film, please get in touch.
York based theatre company Wildgoose Theatre, in conjunction with Script Yorkshire, put out a call for scripts for their ‘3 or 4 for 1 or 2’ strand of performances.
In October 2017 I was lucky enough to have a play I wrote with Anna Rose James performed by York Settlement Community Players.
Over the course of summer 2017 I made a concerted effort to ‘put myself out there’ and auditioned for quite a few short and student films.
I was thrilled to win one of the main roles in Stavros Ladikos’ short film A Conversation. Stavros was a second-year film student at York University and his work is visually stunning.
Wrens was a script I wrote for Tony Hipwell of Grunt Productions, and I was thrilled that I got the chance to act in it as well.
To my great surprise and delight, I had one of my short stories published in the York Literary Review.
I was thrilled to be cast as Mickey in Oli Forsyth’s boxing drama Cornermen, produced by Wildgoose Theatre and directed by Andy Love.
I love sci-fi, but I also love film noir. So when I saw the casting call go out for someone to play a noir detective, who gets to wear a hat, I was all over it.
Around this time of year, university students filming their final year projects tend to advertise for actors. I love sci-fi, so when this one came up I auditioned and got the part.
